Seems that the personal tax files did not get set up, even though, in the upgrade, I went through the list as to which ones should be carried forward...

they do appear on the 'client mailing list' as 2009 files though...

What gives?

In the Address Book, highlight the personal clients you wish to bring over into 2009 and when highlighted, click Copy Contacts in the last box titled Copy Selected Contacts to the 2009 Personal Tax Category.  To select your contacts, first select one contact, press Ctrl and select the rest of your contacts.

This will bring the selected Personal Tax Clients over from 2008 to 2009.
